What are custom orthotics?
Custom orthotics are shoe inserts made for one person's feet. A practitioner assesses the patient and writes a prescription, and a lab makes the pair to it.
How are custom orthotics different from store-bought insoles?
Store-bought insoles come in set sizes and shapes. Custom orthotics are made for the patient's own feet, to a practitioner's prescription.
Can patients order directly?
We work with practitioners and clinics. If you are a patient, ask your practitioner about custom orthotics.
Are custom orthotics covered by insurance?
Coverage depends on the patient's own plan. Many plans ask for a prescription or referral. Check with your insurer for details.
